How to get rid of grease stuck in your home
Many of us spend more time in our kitchens than ever. Maybe you're a passionate cook or have a new hobby. No matter what cooking style, grease is a common side effect. Grease can be difficult to remove.
Warm water and dishwashing soap are a great team for tackling grease, dirt, and other household soils. Each kitchen cleaning is started by our technicians using warm water and soap. They use this bucket for grease removal with a soft, strong microfiber scrub cloth. In addition to the fact that soap is effective, the bucket can be used to clean many surfaces. It's also safe from spray cleaners, which can cause discoloration and other damage (yes, even green).
These are steps to take to eliminate or reduce grease in your own home.
- After every use, clean your stovetop. Yes. Each time. This is your best chance to combat grease. Make this part of your routine for cleaning up after meals so that grease won't get a chance to buildup.
- Dish soap can be very effective in removing grease. It has been specifically formulated to remove grease from dishes.
- Citrus oils aid in the breakdown of grease. Orange essential oils are great for cleaning dishes.
- You can clean up grease spillages by sprinkling flour over the spill. It may seem counterintuitive. Won't it make things worse? However, the flour will absorb grease, which makes it easier for you to see and clean up.
- Baking soda, water, and vinegar can remove grease from pots. Baking soda can be used to dissolve grease because it is an alkali. After use, add a few drops of water and a pinch of baking soda. The soaking will make it much easier to clean up grease.
- For grease removal, you can use rubbing alcohol and salt. This is especially useful when fabrics are too thick to be washed (rugs and couches, for example). You will need four parts of rubbing alcohol and one portion of salt. Use a damp cloth to scrub the stain. You need to scrub really hard! Let the stain dry completely, then vacuum any salt off the surface.
